ESSAY ON ID-UL-FITR IN ENGLISH

Id-Ul-Fitr is a festival of the Muslims. It is celebrated to end the long fast of the month of Ramzan. People are happy. They put on their best clothes. Muslims go to the Idgah so say their prayers. After their prayers they embrace one another. The children purchase toys and sweets and go to play with other children. They visit and greet their friends. Dishes of rice, sweets and Sewain (vermicelli) are sent to friends and relatives. There is joy and happiness in each home. Thus Id-Ul-Fitr is a festival of joy.
